Congratulations to Me

Steve and I got married this weekend! Hooray! We just took care of the legal aspect of it, but we do still want a party to celebrate later. My family is, of course, thrilled that I finally have a piece of paper legitimizing our relationship. (You would think that after the last time they would realize that it takes more than a marriage certificate, but oh, well.) It wasn’t until my uncle congratulated me over Facebook that I realized he was the only one in my family to do so. So like everything else anymore, my parents and extended family are quiet. I am sad that they don’t care very much, but I am very very very happy with Steve, and that is what matters the most. And I am quite thrilled and ecstatic and elated and annoyingly happy about everything right now. 
More good news to follow! Hopefully, anyways. (No, I am not pregnant, so that is not it!)
